Lasers are very intricate devices and require regular maintenance in order to ensure they are working at peak efficiencies. Laser tattoo removal requires an incredible amount of energy delivered in a very short precise burst.

Our lasers are calibrated by our own trained technicians every time they are used to ensure that your treatment is done to the highest possible standard. Due to the large volume of treatments we provide, our laser efficiency is never allowed to drop below 80% efficiency.

At Rethink Your Ink ^TM, your laser tattoo fading and removal specialists, we have invested in having our own calibration equipment in order to ensure effective laser treatments.  Our competitors only have their calibration checked when their lasers malfunction due to the cost of calling in manufacturers technicians.  Since treatments can be performed with substandard power levels and not be noticeable to the operator of the machine, they only way to know is that the laser is not functioning properly is that more treatments are required because less ink is broken down with the lower laser energy.

We have invested in multiple laser systems to ensure that we are simply the best choice for your laser removal or fading requirements.  Since no one laser can remove all colours efficiently and because of the variability of the composition of tattoo ink sometimes even blacks are resistant to the most common laser wavelength that almost all of our competitors commonly use  (1064nm).    We have invested in 2 more $90,000 specialized lasers to handle these tricky ink colours so the chance of just a partial removal is greatly reduced.

• QS Ruby (694 nm) black/green/blue/multicolour tattoos but causes permanent skin whitening as well.
• QS Alexandrite (755 nm) black very effective on green/blue with minimal permanent skin whitening.
• QS Nd:Yag (1064 nm)  blue/black and other dark colors. Not effective on blues and greens.
• QS Nd:Yag frequency doubled (532 nm)   red/orange/yellow. Not effective on blues and greens.
• QS Nd:Yag filtered (585 nm) effective on blue with minimal side effects.  755nm more efficient.
• QS Nd:Yag filtered (650 nm) effective on green with minimal side effects.  755nm more efficient.
